Dr. Mary Theresa Agutu is a passionate veterinarian of 28 years’ experience having graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and also Masters of Science in Medical Virology holder.

She has worked in various parts of the animal health industry starting in 1997 in field practice after employment by the Public Service Commission. Thereafter she joined tertiary training institution where she gained a lot of experience as a trainer.

She attended several Trainer of Trainers courses, Senior Management Course, Strategic leadership and Development Programme, and Transformative Leadership course at the Kenya School of Government.

She has worked through the ranks in management level and is currently, the Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Veterinary Board. She aspires to have a well-regulated profession with veterinary standards adhered to.
